Counseling Approach
Giovanni believes that each person who practices consistency, perseverance, and considers their unique purpose has the ability to shape their life through their choices in a positive direction. Moving forward on your choices means considering what is truly important to you—values, purpose, goals, and meaning, among other areas of the human condition.
Giovanni believes that with the collaboration of a genuine and empathetic therapeutic relationship through counseling, each person can begin course-correcting the path in which they want to live their life for the better.
Experience
While earning his Master’s degree, Giovanni’s clinical internship experience was working with individuals and groups at settings that include a behavioral health services facility (PHP/IOP Programs) for those in need of a higher level of care.
Education
Giovanni earned his Master of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Experience
Giovanni also gained experience with youth and families in crisis while working at a family counseling center located at an alternative school providing counseling services for students within the school district.
Since then, Gio has successfully helped numerous teens and adult males learn new coping skills to manage depression and anxiety, set new personal and professional goals, break toxic cycles, and pursue a more fulfilling life.
