Counseling Approach.

From creation, I believe that any individual is capable of achieving incredible things. Unfortunately, sometimes when encountering obstacles in our life, we are intentionally or unintentionally taught how we should evaluate our self-worth. My trauma-informed approach to counseling focuses on developing strong therapeutic rapport based on authenticity, empathy, unconditional positive regard, understanding and encouragement. As a person-centered counselor, I believe that with support in a non-judgmental environment, each client can accomplish those amazing feats they were born to pursue. Together, we can work to identify individual strengths, learn how to appreciate and love our heart, body, and mind, and build skills that effectively communicate our emotions to not only others, but our selves.
